Read this before flashing anything. ECU tuning carries inherent mechanical risk and, done incorrectly, can cause severe engine and transmission damage. You assume full responsibility for any change you make to your vehicle.

ECU modification risk

Incorrectly patched or flashed instructions can be extremely dangerous to your engine management and can lead to severe engine damage. Modified calibrations change how your engine operates, and tuning always carries inherent mechanical risk. You assume ALL responsibility for the integrity of your ECU and engine management, vehicle safety, and the outcome of any flash. If you are not confident in the procedures or data involved in patching your ECU, do not make any change to your vehicle ECU's ROM image.

Off-road / motorsport use

Calibrations and ECU modifications sold here alter your vehicle's factory operating parameters. They are intended for closed-course, motorsport and off-highway use. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with the laws, emissions rules and certification requirements that apply to your vehicle and jurisdiction.

Your vehicle, your responsibility

Modified calibrations change how your engine operates. While every file we ship includes safety protections and has been validated on the platform, mechanical condition, fuel quality, supporting modifications and operating environment are outside our control. You accept that tuning carries inherent mechanical risk.

Warranty interaction

Flashing a modified calibration may affect your manufacturer's warranty. Stock files are preserved on every reflash we perform so your vehicle can be returned to factory calibration at any time.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this notice limits the consumer guarantees you're entitled to under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act, which apply to the quality of the goods and services we supply. What this notice makes clear is that those guarantees cover what we sell you — not the mechanical outcome of modifying your vehicle, which depends on factors outside our control such as mechanical condition, fuel quality and how the vehicle is driven.
