EcuFlash reads and writes your ECU by mapping every table to an address and a scaling through an XML definition file. Without the right definition your ROM is just raw bytes; with it, fuel, timing, boost, wastegate duty, injector and sensor tables all appear named, scaled and ready to tune. XSPEC maintains a complete, current definition set for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 5 through Evo X and the Ralliart, covering the factory calibration tables, the TephraMOD V3 mod region, and every XSPEC patch tuning knob.
Definitions are provided per ROM ID, so you get the exact table map for your firmware — Evo 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and X, plus Ralliart 4B11T ECUs. Each set layers cleanly over a TephraMOD V3 base, so the mod tables, XSPEC patches (Rolling Antilag, Boost By Gear, Spark Cut and more) and the standard maps all resolve together in one place.
Find your ROM ID, open the matching definition, and copy the XML into your EcuFlash rommetadata folder. Open your ROM and the tables appear under their categories; flash an XSPEC patch and its tuning tables show up under the XSPEC category automatically. As patches evolve and new ROM IDs are added, the definitions here are refreshed to match, so you are always tuning against an accurate map rather than a stale community copy floating around a forum thread.
